DLG - one of Europe's largest commodity companies - invited a number of students to the DLG Business Competition in May. All study programmes were invited to participate and make suggestions to improve our business for the benefit of our owners - the Danish farmers.
Our 6,300 employees work every day to ensure our position as Europe's leading agribusiness company in an industry that is changing rapidly. We must constantly renew ourselves. And we want input from the upcoming generation of farmers, business people, researchers, managers and experts from all fields of study.
We have therefore arranged this competition, which is an invitation for students to give their best offer on the future business idea.
Thursday, May 9, the final of the DLG Business Competition was to be decided, and DLG had invited the six most competent proposals to Axelborg in Copenhagen to present their business idea for COO Niels Søren Rasmussen and Group Executive Director Jesper Pagh.
DLG awarded big prizes for a total of DKK 100,000, and according to Niels Søren Rasmussen, this has attracted talented students, where especially the competition's winners excelled high level of business understanding.
