Arne Rantzow to retire as CEO of Svenska Foder

Arne Rantzow, CEO of Svenska Foder, has announced his retirement. Carsten Klausen is named as interim CEO.
Since the summer of 2015, Arne Rantzow has led Svenska Foder through a period of increased competition on the Swedish market. However, prior to the DLG Group and Svenska Foder entering a new five year strategy period, Arne Rantzow has decided to retire as part of a process planned together with DLG’s management board.
As CEO, Arne Rantzow has played an important role in stabilizing Svenska Foders position on the Swedish market. The company is now fit to realizing the new ambitious goals in the coming 2021 Strategy of the DLG Group. 

“We would like to thank Arne Rantzow for is work in Svenska Foder. DLG has benefitted greatly from his knowledge of the Swedish market in a difficult period of time, and we have benefitted from his experience and expertise,” says Kristian Hundebøll, Group CEO of DLG Group and Chairman of Svenska Foder.
Arne Rantzow will continue to act on an ad-hoc basis for a limited period after retiring. 

New management in Svenska Foder

With the retirement of Arne Rantzow, Carsten Klausen has been appointed as interim CEO of Svenska Foder, a position he held previously for a number of years. 
“We are very happy that Carsten Klausen has agreed to act as interim CEO. His has a good track record as CEO of Svenska Foder, he knows the organization, and has a deep knowledge of the Swedish farm market,” says Kristian Hundebøll. 

At the same time, Johan Nordenblad also returns to Svenska Foder as deputy CEO. Over the last two years, Johan Nordenblad has been responsible for production and logistics in DLG’s German subsidiary, HaGe.
