DLG appoints two new Executive Vice Presidents

Jesper Pagh and Bent Nissen are appointed Executive Vice Presidents and enter Executive Management simultaneously.
The appointments are made as part of the continued pursuit of group synergies and integration across national borders and companies that the DLG Group is implementing in these years:

”Today we are Danish market leaders in both plant production and animal nutrition, results that Bent and Jesper have large shares in. Now we need to further exploit our competitive advantages as a Group and promote synergies, so we can dominate on other markets as well. As Executive Group Presidents both Bent and Jesper play a huge role in this work,” says Group CEO Kristian Hundebøll.

Bent Nissen (56) assumes responsibility for all the Group's activities within the field of plant production, ie. seeds, plant protection, fertilizer and lime. He will work with partial base at HaGe in Kiel. Bent Nissen has worked in DLG since 1990, where he began as a trainee. Since 2017, he has been Group Vice President of plant production, a responsibility that is now being further strengthened. He also serves on board positions in Sejet Plant Breeding, Dankalk, Scandagra Polska, Scandagra Baltics and Dangødning. Bent Nissen is a trained farmer and economist, just as he has a degree in Accounting & Financial Management.

Jesper Pagh (42) has worked in the DLG Group since 2004. For the past six years, he has been the Group Vice President and responsible for the Group's activities within feed and animal nutrition. In addition, he assumes a number of board positions, including in Food Nation, DAKOFO and FEFAC. Jesper Pagh is an agronomist and a graduate of the University of Copenhagen. He has also completed the General Management Program at Harvard Business School.
