DLG strengthens its position in Finland with a new joint venture

After several years of successful cooperation in Russia, DLG and Alltech, which have developed and sell a wide range of productivity-enhancing feed additives for a variety of species, enter into a joint venture in the Finnish market with the acquisition of Kärki-Agri.

With this agreement, both companies have secured an ownership share of 50 % in Kärki-Agri, based in Seinäjoki, Finland. This joint venture will allow DLG and Alltech to deliver an even broader portfolio of innovative animal nutrition solutions and enable us to better support farmers in Finland and other markets in the region.

Kärki-Agri was founded in 1996 and specializes in serving Finnish cattle and dairy farms. Their offerings include animal health products, specialty feeds and feed preservatives. The company also opened a premix plant in 2015, where they produce custom feeds and Nutrilix specialty blocks. As in the Vilofoss group, they focus especially on creating customized solutions.
