Christoffer Hage appointed Vice President, Crop Production at DLG

From 1 October, Christoffer Hage will head DLG's Danish crop production business. He takes over the job from Bent Nissen, who in July took over as CEO of the DLG group's German agribusiness company, HaGe.

Christoffer Hage holds a degree in agricultural economy from Næsgaard Agerbrugskole, and in 2000 he joined DLG. He has since held several different roles in the group, including as product and development manager as well as information and marketing manager.

In 2010 he was given responsibility for DLG Service A/S, and since 2018 he has been director of the Transformation department as well as DLG Service A/S, where he is also responsible for procurement of Farmpack products and biogas. He is also a member of the boards of DCC Energi, Datalogisk, Terra Connect, Food Nation and Enorm.

Jesper Pagh, Group COO at DLG, says:

"Crop production is a particularly important business area for DLG, and I am therefore pleased that Christoffer has agreed to take on the task. During his many years at DLG, he has shown that - in addition to having a particularly well-developed understanding for our business - he also possesses an innovative mindset which strategically is incredibly important for us when we develop and commercialize the future's sustainable solutions within the field of crop production."

A strong team
In his new job as Vice President, Christoffer Hage will be responsible for DLG's Danish crop production business, which includes seed corn, field seeds, fertilizer, lime, and plant protection. He will also join the board of a number of affiliated companies.

"We are entering an exciting time where we will help shape a more sustainable future for Danish plant production. It is a big and very interesting task that awaits, and I look forward to lifting this task together with the strong and very competent team that I will be allowed to lead," says Christoffer Hage.

Privately, he spends much of his free time on outdoor activities with his partner, Pernille, and their four children.
