DLG hires Executive Vice President for Group HR

It is a very experienced HR profile who will shortly take over responsibility for HR at DLG Group. The Group has hired Hanne Blume as Executive Vice President and CHRO with responsibility for Group HR. She also joins the group’s Executive Committee.

Hanne Blume has worked within HR for many years, and she comes from a position as Chief HR, Sustainability and Communications Officer at Dovista. Previously, she headed the HR departments in large Danish companies such as Ørsted and TDC.

Group CEO Kristian Hundebøll looks forward to welcoming Hanne Blume to DLG:

"Our new strategy, Creating the Future 2030, sets an ambitious direction for the DLG of the future, and our colleagues are essential for us to fulfill the ambitions. That is why we are gearing up in the HR area with the employment of Hanne, who with her years of experience and strong leadership qualities is the right person to take on the strategically important task that lies ahead. She has a very solid professional foundation and through her career she has demonstrated that she creates results through collaboration."

HR has so far been managed locally in the companies within the group, but in her role as CHRO Hanne Blume will have the overall responsibility for HR in the group. At the same time, she becomes a member of the Executive Committee.

Extensive knowledge of the business areas

Hanne Blume holds a master's degree in Business Administration & Commercial Law from Aarhus School of Business and has continued her education at INSEAD, IMD, University of Copenhagen, Wharton and London Business School. She is a member of the boards of the Norwegian companies General Ocean and NEL ASA as well as the Danish Cycling Federation. She is also chairman of the board of Insero.

Privately, Hanne Blume lives near Juelsminde, Denmark with her husband, who runs a farm. This gives her insight into the Danish agricultural and food industry, while she in her professional career has worked in the energy industry for several years and most recently in Dovista, a company that produces materials for the construction industry. Thus, she brings a solid understanding of DLG's three business areas with her to the new job.

"DLG is a company I have followed from the sidelines, and I have noticed the development that the company has undergone in recent years. It is an exciting organization founded on strong values, and I look forward to helping shape DLG with a focus on people, culture, and results, as well as working with important agendas such as the future workforce, diversity and inclusion. I see it as a big plus that DLG operates within business areas that I am very passionate about," says Hanne Blume.

She will take office in the first quarter of 2023.
