Jan Topp joins DLG Group as new CIO
Jan Topp will join DLG Group as Chief Information Officer (CIO). He brings extensive leadership experience from both the public and private sectors, having held several CIO roles throughout his career - including at Bang & Olufsen andmost recently at Semco Maritime.
With a strong background in shaping complex IT landscapes, driving digital transformation, and building robust, scalable infrastructures, Jan Topp has a proven ability to modernize systems and support business growth. In addition, he brings extensive knowledge in cyber security.
In his new role, he will be responsible for strengthening DLG Group’s IT capabilities and ensuring that the Group’s IT foundation supports both current operations and future digital ambitions. He will work closely with Group Digital to define the strategic direction for IT and drive the digital transformation of DLG Group, ensuring that technology and digital solutions evolve in alignment with the Group’s overall transformation.

Preparing for the future
Strengthening the Digital and IT functions is a key element of DLG Group’s ongoing transformation. By consolidating and modernising our digital platforms, the Group aims to increase efficiency, reduce complexity, and improve resilience across markets. IT will play a central role in delivering on the ambitions of the ReGen transformation program with enhanced data capabilities and a robust infrastructure that supports faster decision-making.
As CIO, Jan Topp will help set the strategic direction for DLG Group’s IT and digital agenda, ensuring that technology supports the Group’s long-term goals while enabling seamless collaboration and value creation across functions.

Jan Topp will join no later than 1. May, andwill take over from Pernille Geneser, who serves as interim CIO and plays a key role in simplifying and creating stability in complex environments during the transition period. Pernille will continue in her role for now, and a thorough handover period is being planned to ensure a smooth and well coordinated transition.
