DLG Group brings experienced profile back in new global role

On 1 May 2026, Anders Ravn-Nielsen took up the position as Vice President for Global Crop Categories in DLG Group’s Agriculture Business Group. With this appointment, DLG Group strengthens the strategic and commercial development of the Group’s global crop portfolio.

In his role as Vice President for Global Crop Categories, Anders Ravn-Nielsen will be responsible for further developing DLG Group’s global crop business with a clear market and customer focus. His responsibilities include, among other things, developing competitive product portfolios and solutions that support farmers’ needs across markets and growing conditions.

“Anders has deep knowledge of DLG and combines strong commercial insight with solid operational experience. This makes him particularly well equipped to strengthen our global Crop area and support the execution of our priorities across borders. I am pleased to welcome Anders back to DLG Group,” says Peter Kjær Jensen, EVP, Agriculture Business Group.

Anders Ravn-Nielsen has previously held a number of senior roles at DLG and has in-depth knowledge of both the business and the value chain. With 17 years of experience in the Group, he has built a strong understanding of the entire crop value chain and of the interaction between commercial development, sourcing, logistics and market implementation.

Most recently, he served as Sales Manager at BASF Agricultural Solutions in the Nordic region, where he was responsible for commercial activities across borders and was a member of the company’s Nordic management team.

In his new role, Anders Ravn-Nielsen will be responsible for the overall strategic development of DLG Group’s global crop portfolio within crop protection, fertilisers and seeds.

“I am very pleased to return to DLG Group and become part of the crop production team. Together, we have a strong foundation for developing the business and creating value for the farmers we work for,” says Anders Ravn-Nielsen.

Anders Ravn-Nielsen takes over the role from Christoffer Hage, who earlier this year left DLG to become CEO of Earthkeeper Holding.
