Christina Nielsen resigns as Executive Vice President for Finance and Accounting at DLG

Christina Nielsen, Executive Vice President for Finance and Accounting and part of the Executive Management of the DLG Group, has chosen to stop in DLG. For family reasons, she does not want to move with DLG to Fredericia when DLG moves its headquarters from Axelborg in Copenhagen to the new headquarters in Fredericia in June 2020.

Christina Nielsen, State Authorized Public Accountant and Group Executive Vice President of DLG, joined DLG from a position as Senior Manager at Deloitte. Here she had worked with DLG for more than 10 years and through this she had a thorough knowledge of the DLG Group even before she took office five years ago.

Christina Nielsen has been instrumental in professionalizing the DLG Group's financial and accounting function and has helped to consolidate the various financial processes across companies and countries in the DLG Group, and thus been a big part of how the DLG Group has strengthened financially.

“Of course, we are very sorry that Christina is not coming to Fredericia. We are grateful for Christina's great efforts for DLG over the past five years. She is highly respected in the Group and has been a skilled leader of Group Finance. Over the past few months I have come to know her as a competent, knowledgeable and pleasant colleague,” says Thomas Brebøl Christensen, Group CFO, who started at DLG on July 1, 2019 and he continues:

“That said, I have a great understanding of her family situation and respect her choices. We wish Christina all the best and good luck in the future - both with the addition to the family and her continued career,” says Thomas Brebøl Christensen.

Christina will not return to DLG after maternity leave and resigns by the end of June 2020. Until Christina Nielsen goes on maternity leave, expected mid-November 2019, she continues in her current position.
