Changes in the Executive Committee

On 7 March, two new members will join DLG's group management, and one will step down. The changes will ensure that the strategy, Creating the Future 2030, is anchored more strongly in the Executive Committee.

Hanne Blume, Executive Vice President for People & Culture (Group HR), and Carsten Gemeinhardt, Executive Vice President for Housing, are new members of DLG Group’s Executive Committee.

The changes are made to ensure that the group management reflects the group strategy, Creating the Future 2030. As part of the strategy, the business areas Agribusiness and Premix & Nutrition were combined into the business unit Food, while Energy and Retail were split into two business units, Energy and Housing.

"There must be a clear connection between our strategy and the way we organize ourselves in management. As Housing is now an independent business area, it is natural that Carsten Gemeinhardt is also part of the Executive Committee, which is where we make the overall strategic decisions in the group. People & Culture is also a strategically important area, which is why Hanne Blume becomes a member of the Executive Committee when she joins DLG Group," says Group CEO Kristian Hundebøll.

Hanne Blume takes over as Executive Vice President for People & Culture at DLG Group on 7 March. She has for many years been leading HR departments in large Danish companies such as Ørsted and TDC. Hanne has a master's degree in Business Administration & Commercial Law from the Business School in Aarhus.

Carsten Gemeinhardt is Executive Vice President and heads the group's construction materials business, Team Bau. He was employed by Team in 2019 and has many years of experience from the German construction materials industry. He is educated in commerce from the University of Hamburg.

As part of the organisational changes Carsten Klausen, CEO of Svenska Foder, will step down from the Executive Committee.

"For many years, Carsten has been leading Svenska Foder's great success in Sweden, a task he continues to do. I would like to thank him for his contribution to the Executive Committee and I look forward to a continued close collaboration," says Kristian Hundebøll.
